Fix HP Computer's Microcode Update Error, missing or invalid processor Microcode Update. Follow the steps with images.
Microcode Update Error for HP Computers, it is an error which will daily comes up when you turn on your PC and before booting Windows this error ask you to push "F1" key to boot or continue to Windows. It's really mess people up and such kind of error also waste time even after knowing this isn't a big or huge problem but still don't want to press "F1" key each time turning on PC. I have found this problem on HP System Model DC7100 and tried many experiments to fix it but in the end I found the solution and succeeded to solve this issue and that's why here I'm sharing this tutorial for those who are having same issue and didn't resolve issue so far still messing up with it.
Exact Error Code:
1801-Microcode Update ErrorMissing or Invalid Processor Microcode Update. Please contact Hewlett-Packard Company for a new Microcode Update to support the new Processor Stepping.
Required File:
Download Below File and Follow the instructions.File Size: 2.86 MB approx.
Follow below Steps:
Step-1: Just double click on downloaded file.
Step-2: Click Next Button as shown on pic.
Step-3: Accept License Agreement & Click Next.
Step-4: Click on Change button to select destination folder.
Step-5: I Recommend to extract it on Desktop by Creating Bios folder.
Step-6: Double Click on Bios folder located at Desktop.
Step-7: Double Click on HPQFlash Folder.
Step-8: Right Click on HPQFlash.exe & Run as Administrator (in Windows 7/Vista),
XP Users just double click on it.
Step-9: Be ready to Flash Bios, close all program & Click on Next.
It will take upto 30~60 seconds to complete, then restart your PC.
